Obstacles to fish passage on the River Dove
     
River Dove - Marston Gauging Weir Marston Gauging weir is used to determine the level of abstraction which can be carried out by Severn Trent for their supply to Foremark reservoir. The abstraction point is below Dovecliffe weir and before the Dove reaches the Trent . You can see the structure from the A38 on the right hand side as you drive towards Burton .

River Dove - Tutbury Weir Tutbury weir - has a chute in the centre of the weir which is very popular with children during the Summer holidays as a water slide.
